About Chance

I am dedicated to providing the best possible manual care and movement education for my clients in a safe and nurturing environment. It is through enhancing awareness of one's self-embodiment that true empowerment and self-efficacy may blossom. Understanding that we are all self-healing, self-correcting and self-rehabilitating allows my clients to own their process. I am honored and blessed to be able to facilitate and guide my clients along their journeys through touch, movement and education.

I have spent the last 14 years studying and practicing holistic manual care and bodywork. The heart of my manual care practice is Structural Integration also commonly known as rolfing. People often ask who comes to see me. In response I tell them that I usually see one of two types of people. I see those who are in pain and just want to return to normal pain free functioning. Others come feeling fine with only the desire to up their game or enhance their functioning. Both unfold through self-originating processes based upon the biological and physiological underpinnings of the human experience.

I received my diploma from The Guild for Structural Integration in 2002. Currently, I am in my fourth of a 6 years in service movement training for Spacial Dynamics.

What other say about Chance's work and Structural Integration

"Each session was a miracle and an opening. So Chance, thank you so much for all that you did and the willingness to challenge, encourage, guide, and change my body so I could finally begin to breathe, walk, try, and believe again..."
-- Denise Colbert, 2005
